Composite Fillings

Tooth-colored composite fillings are designed to fill cavities, preventing further damage to your teeth. These natural-looking fillings blend seamlessly with your existing teeth, providing both aesthetic and functional benefits.

Dental Bonding

Dental Bridges

Restore your smile and functionality with a custom-made, permanently bonded dental bridge that seamlessly fills gaps and prevents shifting teeth.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns strengthen damaged teeth, improve their appearance, and enhance their longevity, providing a durable solution for better oral health.

Dental Extractions

Tooth extractions are a common procedure that can be done with minimal discomfort, helping to protect your oral health and prevent future issues.

Dental Implants

An Implant acts like a natural tooth root and is finished off with a restoration such as a dental crown to help restore the function of your teeth, look good and feel natural.

Dentures

Replace, maintain, or repair your full or partial dentures with modern prosthetics designed to restore multiple or all of your teeth comfortably.

Root Canal

A root canal is a highly effective procedure designed to relieve tooth pain caused by infection or decay while preserving your natural tooth. This treatment is quick, careful, and, with modern techniques, can be relatively pain-free, offering you immediate relief and the ability to keep your original tooth intact.

Teeth Cleanings

Routine checkups and teeth cleanings are essential for maintaining healthy gums and teeth, helping to prevent gum disease and tooth decay. Scheduling regular cleanings every 6 to 8 months is crucial in avoiding the sudden onset of dental pain and unexpected costs associated with more extensive dental procedures.

The Importance of Early Intervention and Routine Care

Prevention is the key to long-term oral health. Regular check-ups and early treatment help keep your teeth, gums, and jaw healthy, reducing discomfort and avoiding unexpected costs. Our goal is to keep you smiling.

Keep Your Natural Teeth for Longer

Cavities and gum disease are the leading causes of tooth loss. Good oral hygiene at home, combined with regular exams, allows us to catch early signs of decay or gum disease and address them before they worsen.

Save Your Money

Routine cleanings and exams are affordable and prevent costlier treatments later. Early care, like composite fillings, is a budget-friendly investment in your oral health.

Don’t Even Think About It

Healthy teeth mean no pain, inflammation, or self-consciousness. With proper care, your teeth are naturally strong, beautiful, and easy to maintain, allowing you to focus on what matters most.

Contact us today

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

A check-up typically involves a professional cleaning and examination. This helps remove plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing can’t eliminate while allowing your dental team to monitor your oral health and focus on any trouble spots.

Cavities develop when food particles, especially in hard-to-clean areas, feed the bacteria in your mouth. These bacteria produce acids that weaken enamel over time. A diet rich in sugar or acidic foods and drinks can speed up this process.

Genetics can play a role in cavity susceptibility. Some people naturally harbour more cavity-causing bacteria or have teeth that are harder to clean due to overcrowding. Practising excellent oral hygiene and healthy eating habits is the best way to minimise the risk.

Yes, fillings stop tooth decay from spreading and prevent future discomfort. Addressing the issue early keeps it manageable and avoids more extensive treatments down the line.

Decay can be slowed or reversed with regular cleanings. Early-stage decay may be treated with fluoride or composite fillings. Advanced decay can require root canals, crowns, or veneers. In severe cases, extraction might be necessary, with options like implants or bridges to restore function and appearance.

Routine cleanings and exams are safe and recommended during pregnancy to prevent oral infections and manage any symptoms. Emergency treatments, like root canals, may be needed if an infection arises, but elective procedures, such as whitening, should wait until after delivery.

First time at Belleville Smiles today. We just moved back to Belleville after 5 years in Kingston and our old Belleville dentist was not answering our calls. I finally decided to call Belleville Smiles after seeing their location was so close to our house on google. I’m glad that I did . Today was my 16 year olds first appointment. They gave me several reminders , that I really appreciated as a mom of five. I was able to communicate via text when I couldn’t find the forms they had emailed and they replied right away and sent a new email for me. Everyone in the office is very friendly. The office itself is beautiful and extremely clean. We are looking forward to coming back , and I will be bringing my other children to this dentist as well!

The staff are kind and genuinely caring at Smiles Dentistry. Dr Sudhir did an excellent job on some long neglected work I needed. He had to rebuild 1/2 of one of my molars and you’d never know there was any composite in that molar. It looks exactly as the real tooth looked. He stayed passed closing to ensure everything was done properly. He is very good at administering the freezing , keeping his patients as comfortable as possible and explained everything he had to do very well. Jennifer was the dental assistant for my previous visit, she was very kind and went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable during exams as I have spinal issues . Today Herschel was the dental assistant, he is very good at his job and I have to say what a warm, caring young man he is! Melissa in reception is just the friendly face and spunky personality that makes people feel welcome. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

To say this place made me feel safe, healthy and at home is an understatement! I am NOT a fan of the dentist, however Dr. Shenoy gave me a freezing needle with such grace and skill I didn’t know I had one!! Yes that’s right, and my tooth individually was frozen not my entire side. The entire staff have treated me as if I have been a long time customer and I just attended my second visit! If you’re looking for a new, clean space with great staff and care this is your spot! Thank you so much, I cannot thank you and your team enough for the confidence I needed back in my smile!
